Every Curel blade carries a lifetime warranty against manufacturing defects. We repair or replace.
Manufacturing defects: cracks in the blade, tempering faults, structural problems in the handle, failing welds. We replace or repair free of charge, at our discretion.
The lifetime warranty stays with the piece, even after a change of owner. No registration required.
Normal wear from use. Loss of edge from improper sharpening. Damage from misuse — hitting bones, frozen food, or hard surfaces like glass and stone. Corrosion from prolonged contact with water, citrus juices or salty foods.
Pieces exposed to a dishwasher: the heat and detergents damage both the handle and the edge. Curel does not cover resulting damage.
Send an email to geral@curel.pt with photos of the piece and a description of the problem. We reply within 1–2 business days with instructions.
If applicable, we send a prepaid label for the piece to return to the factory. Repair or replacement within 7–14 days.
Professional sharpening at the factory: €15 per piece, plus shipping. It restores the original edge without removing excess material.
We recommend sharpening once a year for regular home use, or quarterly for intensive professional use.
