Terms of use of the website and of online sale. They apply to all orders.
"Curel" or "we" refers to Cutelarias Curel, Lda, tax ID 500000000, registered office at Zona Industrial nº26, Santa Catarina, 2500-773 Caldas da Rainha, Portugal.
"Customer" is any natural or legal person who places an order through the curel.pt website.
An order is considered accepted after confirmation by email. Prices in euros, VAT included at the legal rate in force. We reserve the right to cancel orders in the event of an obvious pricing error or stock shortage.
Payments processed in a secure environment via Stripe, PayPal, MBWay and Multibanco. We do not store card data.
Ownership of the goods transfers upon full payment. The risk of loss or damage transfers upon delivery to the customer. Delivery times are indicative.
Delays due to force majeure, strikes, customs or weather conditions do not give rise to any additional compensation.
Under Decree-Law No. 24/2014, the customer has 14 days from delivery to withdraw from the contract without giving any reason. Curel grants an extended period of 30 days.
Personalised items (engravings, made-to-order handles) are excluded. These cannot be returned, except for a manufacturing defect.
Legal guarantee of conformity: 3 years for movable goods (Decree-Law No. 84/2021). The Curel lifetime warranty is additional to the legal guarantee and covers manufacturing defects forever.

These terms are governed by Portuguese law. Any dispute will be submitted to the competent courts of the district of Lisbon, without prejudice to the consumer’s right to bring the matter before the courts of their domicile.
